  • Another edition of SeedBlink’s Fire Pitch of the Week will take place on September 30th
  • As usual, the pitching event will take place online via Zoom
  • The pitching startup of the day is Lindis Blood Care

On September 30th, the famed Romanian co-investment platform SeedBlink continues its series of regular online events where startups that are currently fundraising on the platform highlight themselves better before potential investors, as well as the general public. This time, the stage belongs to Lindis Blood Care – the German medtech that develops a product for the safe removal of cancer cells from salvaged blood during surgeries, thus enabling safer autologous blood transfusions.

SeedBlink is a crowd investment platform that provides tech startups from Romania, CEE, and beyond, with an opportunity to raise additional funds from smaller investors. The regular ticket size in a SeedBlink campaign is as affordable as EUR 2,500 or EUR 1,000 for Club members, but the campaigning startups have a possibility to customize it further.

Among other advantages, a SeedBlink campaign is a perfect opportunity for a startup to engage its customers as stakeholders.

The platform’s most famous portfolio companies include Dronamics, Rayscape (ex-XVision), and Bright Spaces.

As for Lindis Blood Care GmbH, it develops advanced medical solutions for oncology with a focus on blood management during cancer surgeries, designed to remove tumor cells from a patient’s own blood during surgical procedures. Such solutions may be of critical importance when, during some surgeries, blood may need to be collected and reinfused into the patient. If cancer cells are present in the blood, reinfusion could increase the risk of spreading the disease.

CATUVAB, the company’s flagship product, is a system that filters out circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from blood collected during surgery, ensuring that it is safe for reinfusion and reducing the risk of cancer cells spreading during procedures involving significant blood loss.

On September 30th at 16:00 EEST / 15:00 CET, Lindis Blood Care’s co-founder and CEO Franzpeter Bracht will present the project and be available for an extended Q&A. SeedBlink’s regional manager DACH Ronald Rapberger will be the moderator of the evening. All the interested investors are welcome to join here.
