- Another edition of SeedBlink’s Fire Pitch of the Week will take place on October 21st
- As usual, the pitching event will take place online via Zoom
- The pitching startup of the day is Swisspod Technologies
On October 21st, the famous Romanian co-investment platform SeedBlink continues its series of regular online events where startups that are currently fundraising on the platform highlight themselves better before potential investors, as well as the general public. This time, the stage belongs to Swisspod Technologies – the Romanian-Swiss developer of hyperloop passenger and freight transportation systems.
SeedBlink is a crowd investment platform that provides tech startups from Romania, CEE, and beyond, with an opportunity to raise additional funds from smaller investors. The regular ticket size in a SeedBlink campaign is as affordable as EUR 2,500 or EUR 1,000 for Club members, but the campaigning startups have a possibility to customize it further.
Among other advantages, a SeedBlink campaign is a perfect opportunity for a startup to engage its customers as stakeholders.
The platform’s most famous portfolio companies include Dronamics, FlowX.AI, .lumen, and Bright Spaces.
As for Swisspod Technologies, it is a Swiss-based startup dedicated to transforming long-distance transportation with innovative, high-speed, and sustainable solutions. Founded in 2019 by Denis Tudor and his team of forward-thinking engineers, Swisspod is driven by the vision of creating a hyperloop system that combines near-supersonic speeds with eco-friendly design. Headquartered in Monthey, Switzerland, Swisspod leverages the country’s strong engineering reputation to pioneer hyperloop technology, a concept inspired by Elon Musk’s original vision.
At the core of Swisspod’s approach is a low-pressure tube system that allows passenger and cargo pods to travel with minimal air resistance, resulting in highly efficient, ultra-fast transit. Utilizing magnetic levitation and electric propulsion, the system reduces energy consumption compared to traditional transportation methods, making it a compelling alternative to both rail and air travel.
Committed to sustainability, Swisspod envisions an interconnected network of hyperloop routes powered by renewable energy. By minimizing environmental impact, the company is positioning its technology as an essential component of a greener future in global transportation. Swisspod has built partnerships with research institutions, universities, and industry leaders to accelerate development and refine its hyperloop system to meet real-world demands.
As Swisspod progresses, it has gained the attention of investors, governments, and transportation innovators who see its potential to redefine mobility on a global scale. With an emphasis on sustainability, speed, and technological excellence, Swisspod Technologies aims to be a driving force in the future of high-speed, sustainable transportation.
On October 21st at 17:00 EEST / 16:00 CET, Swisspod Technologies’ co-founder and CEO Denis Tudor will present the project and be available for an extended Q&A. SeedBlink’s head of financial services Eric Bartha will be the moderator of the evening. All the interested investors are welcome to join here.
