This June, Rzeszów Regional Development Agency calls startups and investors from Poland and beyond to the annual Carpathian Startup Fest. The focus of the Fest is the pitching competition with many cash prizes totaling PLN 130K / EUR 30K. The attendees will also get to hear insights from thought leaders of the Polish startup/VC ecosystem.
On June 5-6th, Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park “Aeropolis” in Jasionka near Rzeszów, Poland, will host the 2024 edition of the Carpathian Startup Fest – Subcarpathian Region’s magnet for those who seek funding opportunities, want to develop their own business, improve their brand positioning, and network with tech enthusiasts.
The Startup Competition
The biggest attraction of the Carpathian Startup Fest is the pitching competition with cash prizes of a total PLN 130K / EUR 30K. This year, it runs in several tracks:
- Startup – with the maximum prize of PLN 40K / EUR 9K
- Scaleup – with the maximum prize of PLN 15K / EUR 3.5K
- Idea – with the maximum prize of PLN 7K / EUR 1.6K
- Open mic pitch – with the maximum prize of PLN 4K / EUR 1K
Winners also get valuable prizes and an opportunity to enter the 8th edition of InCredibles – a mentoring program for young entrepreneurs. Additionally, the audience will get to choose its own winner who will be awarded PLN 3K / EUR 700.
Speakers
Startups willing to participate are to apply here before April 2nd. The jury of investors will carefully review all the applications and announce 20 finalists on April 22nd. Those who couldn’t apply on time, are still welcome to come and take part in the Open Mic pitching competition which was designed specifically for such cases.
