In late May, less than two months after the success of Alpha Wolves in Warsaw, Wolves Summit returns to Wrocław for the top event of the season in CEE Tech. Namely, on May 24, Wrocław Congress Center opens its doors for Wolves Summit 2022. This time the event lasts a whole four days and is available for attending both on-site and online.
For seven years now, Wolves Summit brings together startup entrepreneurs, investors, and innovation and tech enthusiasts of all sorts from all over CEE and beyond. The Summit’s goal is establishing business relationships and supporting local startups as well as networking, socializing, and relaxing after an intensive day in the company of kindred spirits. The bulk stats are more than impressive: the Summit can boast about having welcomed about 26,000 guests from 90 countries and arranged 37,500 1:1 meetings between startup representatives and investors through these seven years.
The Ukrainian Focus
The topic of the military turmoil in Ukraine surpasses the political space and cannot be avoided even at non-political events. It has shocked everyone and touched many people personally – both inside and outside Ukraine. This includes Michael Chaffe, the Summit’s founder and CEO, who spent a few years working on several enterprises in Ukraine in his time. That’s why the current state and perspectives of the Ukrainian startup movement under extreme conditions will be among the central topics of this edition of Wolves Summit. Aside from that, the organizers decided to support the startups themselves by lifting the participation fees for all startup representatives from Ukraine, as well as all other CEE countries with the apparent exception of Russia and Belarus.
