On February 8th, the well-known Romanian crowd investment platform SeedBlink continues its series of regular online events where startups that are currently campaigning on the platform get the chance to highlight themselves better before potential investors. This evening, the spotlight belongs to one of the platform’s most prominent portfolio startups – Collabwriting.
SeedBlink is a co-investment platform that provides tech startups from Romania, CEE, and beyond, with an opportunity to raise additional funds from smaller investors. The regular ticket size in a SeedBlink campaign is as affordable as EUR 2,500 or EUR 1,000 for Club members, but the campaigning startups have a possibility to adjust it further.
Among other advantages, a SeedBlink campaign is a perfect opportunity for a startup to engage its customers as stakeholders.
The platform’s most famous portfolio companies include Dronamics, Rayscape (ex-XVision), and Bright Spaces (who are still campaigning at the moment).

As for Collabwriting, it is a Serbian startup that developed a straightforward browser extension for collaborating on any information a user finds or creates. Essentially, wherever a user finds text online, with Collabwriting they can create a highlight, leave a comment, and add it to your research topic – as simple as marking up a paragraph in MS Word or Google Docs.
The simplicity has already earned Collabwriting international popularity, as well as a decisive victory at How To Web 2023 Conference’s Spotlight Competition. The victory brought Collabwriting the prize of EUR 880K of investment, EUR 100K of which comes from the SeedBlink campaign.
