Bridging Global Investment Gaps Through a Regulated, AI-Powered Platform

Radek Jezbera, Founder and CEO at Kilde

Kilde’s founder and CEO Radek Jezbera, originally from the Czech Republic, has spent many years working in the finance industry across Europe and Asia. His experience exposed him to both institutional and retail investment challenges, particularly the limited access to reliable alternative income products. Kilde was founded in Singapore in 2020 with the goal of helping investors beat inflation and access stable, income-generating opportunities beyond traditional markets.

The name ‘Kilde’ is a Norwegian word that translates as ‘spring’ or ‘source.” It symbolizes the company’s mission to serve as a steady source of alternative income for investors. Open to interpretation, the name may also reflect the team’s broader vision of providing transparency and sustainability in financial growth — a kind of spring that continually renews and supports wealth creation.

What Mr Jezbera and his team have built is a regulated investment platform that provides accredited and institutional investors access to private‑debt assets, such as senior‑secured bonds backed by consumer and SME loan portfolios. The company sources, underwrites, structures, and manages these portfolios using data analytics and AI‑driven credit assessment, offering relatively short‑duration investments with liquidity features. Its platform aims to deliver higher-yield alternative assets with transparency, independent custody, and geographically diversified exposure across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Since its founding, Kilde has experienced consistent growth, reaching around USD 120M AuM in just a few years. According to Mr Jezbera, the company managed to achieve this by carefully researching and adapting to the unique dynamics of the Singapore market and expanding its reach internationally. Along the way, it has navigated complex regulatory landscapes, built investor trust, and continuously enhanced its platform to deliver a seamless investing experience.

Regulatory Foundation, Global Compliance, and Strategic Partnerships to Accelerate Growth

Kilde’s core operations are based in Singapore, where the company is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Evidently, this regulatory foundation ensures a high level of compliance, transparency, and investor protection. As the company expands to new regions like Europe and the UAE, it aligns its practices with local requirements while maintaining MAS standards as a recognized benchmark for governance and trust.

Throughout its years of work, Kilde formed a number of significant partnerships and collaborations with financial institutions, fintech companies, and other stakeholders to enhance its service offerings and market reach. An exemplary case is Kilde’s strategic partnership with Auptimate over the past year. This is a digital-first platform that streamlines SPV setup and administration for private credit investments. This collaboration has enabled us to significantly shorten SPV incorporation timelines, reduce administrative friction, and improve investor onboarding efficiency. By bringing Auptimate’s automation and compliance capabilities into our workflow, we’ve accelerated our ability to scale while maintaining the transparency and regulatory integrity our investors expect.

Balancing Human Expertise with AI Efficiency

Gustavo Leal, Deputy CEO at Kilde

Kilde’s deputy CEO Gustavo Leal shares that the platform’s due diligence process starts with a fundamental financial analysis of the borrower, checking their latest audit reports, profitability, leverage, and liquidity, along with the macroeconomic context. The ‘secret sauce’ is going an extra mile to delve deep into the loan book, accessing the anonymous loan tape to digest thousands of data points into a comprehensive dashboard. This two-sided approach allows us to cross-check the financial statements and verify metrics like provisions at a product level, which is key to maintaining our record of zero defaults.

Mr Leal further explains that Kilde’s credit methodology began with extensive human knowledge and expertise—the team’s experience and established financial ratios—which provides the essential context and initial basis for risk understanding. While Kilde’s AI technology digests thousands or millions of data points to achieve a lean structure and fast growth, the technology serves to automate the analysis, not replace human judgment. This approach ensures that the fundamental human touch remains in assessing the risk management team and regulatory context, keeping the core principles of the rating transparent and explainable.

Ambitious Goals Endorsed by Investors

‘We’ve officially crossed USD 130M in Assets under Management on the Kilde platform, meaning that investors choose simplicity, safety, and stable returns. They chose Kilde. Now, it’s time to get serious. USD 1B AUM is no longer a dream but a plan with budgets and milestones,’ Mr Jezbera states.

According to Purple Ventures’ managing partner Jan Staněk, his fund’s goals include making co-investment opportunities available to investors, and Kilde was a logical choice. Having known this company for several years, its significant potential is apparent to the Purple Ventures’ team.

Jan Staněk, Managing Partner at Purple Ventures

‘It is a profitable company with exponentially growing business. I believe that around 2030, they will exceed USD 100M in revenues and become a dollar unicorn,’ Mr Staněk is convinced.

As for the nearer future, Kilde will primarily use the fresh funding to streamline the platform and make the investing process faster and more convenient for users. The company is upgrading the platform’s technology infrastructure to enhance both risk assessment and transaction efficiency. These improvements support Kilde’s expansion into new markets over the coming months, helping bring alternative income opportunities to a broader investor base.

High-Yield Investment Opportunities Bridging Investors and Borrowers

As Mr Jezbera summarizes, Kilde sees a continuous opportunity in offering a fixed-rate, high-yield financial instrument that provides predictability and stability against public market volatility and lowering base rates. By dealing with larger, more stable non-bank financial firms (NBFIs) that possess professional management and strong cash flow, the company manages risk effectively for its investors. Kilde sees its mission in providing a reliable source of capital for high-quality borrowers while delivering predictable, high fixed returns to investors who seek to avoid downside volatility.

Bridging the gap between investors seeking stable, high-yield returns and high-quality borrowers in need of reliable capital, Kilde offers a significant alternative to traditional markets. The platform’s combination of rigorous human-led analysis with AI-driven efficiency ensures transparency, risk management, and consistent performance, driving the accessibility and trustworthiness of private credit. As global markets face volatility and low interest rates, Kilde’s approach provides a meaningful, predictable source of income, positioning it as a key player in the evolving landscape of alternative investments.
