Voice cloning can change our lives more than we think. Take a look 7 voice cloning trends:

  1. Voice cloning can save a lost voice. Voice cloning technology can help people who lost their voice due to illness or accident. People with neuromuscular disorders or people who have undergone surgery can use this technology to speak naturally once again.
  2. Conversation Intelligence in sales. Conversation Intelligence will be widely used in customer service and sales – the tools read the conversation with the customer, analyze it, and present it to the customer, allowing for tracking and improving the performance of teams. Examples of tools: Gong, Balto, Observe, LayerAI.
  3. Removing language barrier. People will be able to talk to each other in any language – technologies will be integrated into every device, including wearables and possibly implants.
  4. Voice ads. The popularity of voice ads in eCommerce will increase – we are in the mobile-first phase, and assistants such as Alexa and Siri can connect to external applications, which opens up a huge opportunity for stores in terms of advertising channels.
  5. Cloud-to-speech service will be 2x cheaper. The introduction of Whisper revolutionized the Speech-to-text market. It continues to rise, but oddly enough, its price remains ridiculously high. This is due to the costs associated with audio traffic in the cloud, as well as the cost of using GPUs in the cloud.
  6. Voice AI in voice diagnostics. Algorithms can analyze voice samples to detect potential health issues, making them a key tool for remote healthcare and telemedicine.
  7. Musician voice licensing. Voices can be licensed, rented, and used without limit. Already, the voices of musicians are notoriously cloned and used to create new songs. In the future, they will be available ‘for a license.’
