This August, the well-known Romanian AI sales automation proptech startup VAUNT launched Spotlight, its free AI-powered tool that automatically creates interactive digital tours. Spotlight serves as a yet another enhancement to VAUNT’s expanding suite, which includes CRM, interactive offers, mobile app, financial reporting, marketing, customer portal, and AI-driven interaction analysis, streamlining marketing and sales processes for residential real estate.
VAUNT in a Nutshell
Founded in 2020 by Irina Constantin (CEO) and Razvan Mitre (CTO), VAUNT is a B2B SaaS proptech startup revolutionizing residential real estate sales. Its intuitive platform streamlines sales and marketing processes, enabling businesses to manage housing portfolios, track client interactions, run marketing campaigns, showcase properties in 2D, handle finances, and access real-time analytics—all from a single hub. Focused on customer success, VAUNT is known for proactive incorporation of user feedback, detailed tutorials, and frequent updates to its set of features. As a compound startup, it is building a suite of interconnected tools to become the go-to digital infrastructure for residential property sales.
In 2024, VAUNT achieved major milestones: it served 73 clients, listed over 100 projects valued at more than EUR 1B, and facilitated EUR 488M in recorded transactions, accounting for 7% of Romania’s real estate deals. The company also reported 74% year-over-year growth, solidifying its role as a key industry player.
AI Tours Made Simple
After launching its AI module for anonymized interaction analysis and personalized sales recommendations earlier this summer, VAUNT now introduces Spotlight, its AI-powered tool that lets real estate developers independently create interactive property tours in minutes with no additional technical skills required, streamlining marketing and accelerating sales processes efficiently.

Irina Constantin, Co-Founder and CEO at VAUNT
‘Spotlight was born from listening to our clients. In today’s fast-moving economy, where buyer expectations change overnight, developers told us they needed a faster, more visual way to showcase properties. Static PDFs and slow production times just don’t cut it anymore,’ Ms Constantin states.
Many have noticed how this shift really accelerated during COVID, when people spent more time online. Consequently, buyers got used to instant, interactive experiences in every part of their lives, and they now expect the same when shopping for real estate.
‘In today’s market, attention is the new currency and buyers are busier than ever. If you want to stand out, you can’t rely on static PDFs or long email threads. People expect an experience, not just information. AI-generated interactive presentations meet that expectation. They’re live 24/7, instantly accessible, and let buyers explore a property in detail from anywhere, building an emotional connection before they ever set foot inside,’ Ms Constantin continues.
Efficiency for Developers
For developers, they’re just as transformative: Spotlight uses the materials they already have, so setup takes minutes, not the weeks or months of production. And once it’s live, there’s no more back-and-forth to answer the same questions, everything is built right into the tour, presenting a fast and smart way to sell in an economy where first impressions happen online.
Importantly, Spotlight generates its interactive presentations using only the materials provided by the user: floor plans, images, and project details, and those materials are not used to train the AI. VAUNT assures that the content stays private and secure, so developers maintain full control over their assets while still benefiting from the promptness and quality of an AI-generated presentation.
From Engagement to Insights
What Spotlight can do with the data at hand is tracking user engagement within the interactive tours—in the upgraded paid version. It generates insights like which units attract the most views, how long buyers spend exploring, and what features get the most attention.
‘This data is used to help developers make smarter, faster decisions: from refining marketing campaigns to adjusting pricing or highlighting specific amenities. It’s all about turning buyer behavior into actionable insights that drive sales,’ Mr Mitre explains.
Following Market Trends Through Powerful Design
According to Ms Constantin, Spotlight—just like VAUNT’s other tools and modules—was shaped by two things: closely tracking market shifts and being exposed to emerging trends and technologies through the Catalyst NYC accelerator and the company’s presence in the US. This combination helps the team move faster from concept to launch and ensure building exactly what the market needs right now.
Mr Mitre admits that one of the biggest challenges was making something incredibly powerful feel incredibly simple. Developers should be able to go from floor plan to interactive tour in minutes, using only the materials they already have with no long onboarding, no ‘heavy tech lift.’ This means a lot of work behind the scenes to streamline the AI pipeline, handle different file types and formats, and ensure everything renders beautifully on any device.

Razvan Mitre, Co-Founder and CTO at VAUNT
‘On the UX side, our priority was clarity and speed. Buyers shouldn’t need a tutorial to explore a property, and developers shouldn’t need to chase down tech teams for updates. Every decision came back to one question: Does this make it faster and easier for someone to buy or sell real estate in today’s market? Of course like every other thing we build, we always consider our products ever growing and adapting,’ the CTO tells ITKeyMedia.
Feedback and Scaling
Spotlight is brand new, but VAUNT already has some feedback ready for sharing. Ms Constantin mentions one client noting that they ‘use VAUNT’s automation to the max’ because it saves time and eliminates human error, while another client underscored how AI and automation help them make the most of every single interaction with potential buyers with nothing slipping through the cracks.
‘We expect Spotlight to push that even further. By giving buyers instant, interactive access to property information, sales teams can focus their time on higher-quality conversations and closing deals, rather than fielding repetitive questions. In a market where speed and personalization matter, that’s a game changer,’ Ms Constantin emphasizes.
Now, the goal is to have at least 30 developers using Spotlight by the end of the year. Achieving this would provide the team with clear, real-world use cases for Spotlight and demonstrate the role this kind of technology can play in driving sales. This should mark a decisive step toward scaling the tool internationally and proving that when interactive tours are this easy to create and manage, they can have a measurable impact on revenue.
From there, the team can focus on expanding Spotlight’s capabilities and integrating them deeper into the VAUNT ecosystem.
‘Spotlight is just one part of a larger platform designed to give developers everything they need to accelerate sales, boost customer satisfaction, and build strong communities for the future,’ Ms Constantin states.
Non-Stop AI Innovation
Following VAUNT’s AI module for client interaction analysis and the recently presented Spotlight, the company’s development team continues working to embed AI into every process that can be optimized. Mr Mitre shares that the next project will make communication between developers and buyers faster and easier, giving both sides real-time insights, from the status of the development and post-move-in issues to property market value, warranties, and the cost of resolving problems.
‘Real estate isn’t just about transactions, it’s where people build their lives. We believe developers deserve tools that help them deliver an outstanding experience from handshake to housewarming, and AI is a key part of making that happen,’ Mr Mitre concludes.
VAUNT’s AI-generated interactive 2D presentations have the potential to transform residential real estate sales by providing buyers with instant, immersive property experiences, building emotional connections before physical visits. Theis streamlines developers’ workflows, reducing repetitive inquiries and accelerating decision-making. By combining efficiency, personalization, and real-time insights, tools like VAUNT’s Spotlight can enhance sales, marketing, and overall customer satisfaction.
