We already know the leaders in mobile innovation of 2016. Let’s see the stars of this year’s Glomo Awards.
The global mobile awards, or GLOMO, winners were revealed during the official ceremony, which took place on Tuesday 23 February at Hall 4 Conference Village, Fira Gran Via, Barcelona. The event was hosted over 100,000 attendees from 204 countries and territories, and received coverage from more than 3,600 members of the international press and media. What’s more, over 2,200 companies participated in the exhibition, which spanned nine halls and one dozen outdoor spaces at Fira Gran Via and Fira Montjuïc. Everything from virtual reality, new handsets and ingenious app ideas, to 3D printing, privacy protection and backend solutions were on display.
“Our congratulations to all of the winners and nominees of the GSMA’s Glomo Awards this week of Mobile World Congress,” said Michael O’Hara, Chief Marketing Officer, GSMA. “In what was a remarkably wide field of more than 930 entrants, narrowed to 170 nominees, it is truly an outstanding achievement to have been selected by our esteemed judging panels.
