- A Polish cloth brand, Ekipatonosi.pl, collects money and provides medical workers with the necessary staff (masks, sanitizers, etc.)
- Cervi Robotics, the robotic-oriented company, has joined the initiative, creating an adapter for inhaled and exhaled air in face masks used by medical professionals.
- You can still donate for the campaign!
In times of a pandemic, so many of us try to contribute for the sake of others. And today it doesn’t matter if you are a giant technology enterprise or a small stylish cloth brand. You can always do something good to those who need your help, just like a Poland-based brand Ekipatonosi (English: The crew wears it).
Help for healthcare professionals!
There are still a few days left until the end of the donation initiative organized by Ekipatonosi.
‘Hospitals lack basic PPE (personal protection equipment) to protect front-line personnel. Each case of infection among the crew excludes from a few to several dozen people who can help those in need, which is a huge threat to a heavily strained health care system. To minimize the risk of the virus spreading to hospital employees, we want to equip them with the necessary tools,’ the team shared the main purpose of the donation program.
The collected funds are used to manufacture and purchase masks, face shields, and overalls – antibacterial gels, non-contact thermometers, etc.
To date, the company has managed to accumulate over 250,000 PLN (around 55,000 EUR) and counting.
Cervi Robotics has joined Ekipatonosi.
Cervi Robotics has joined forces with the Polish cloth brand to fight together against coronavirus. The Rzeszow-based company supports the initiative with its knowledge and technological background. The team created an adapter for inhaled and exhaled air in face masks used by medical professionals.
‘Our engineering team has designed an adapter for inhaled and exhaled air in face masks used by medical professionals. After consulting the doctors, it turned out that the existing adapters are leaking and the design needs to be improved. So we did it. We keep working! Soon we will be announcing another project that we are working on right now,’ the team of Cervi Robotics declared.
Cervi Robotics deals with the design of docking stations for autonomous drones and the construction of unmanned aerial vehicles. In addition, they have a project of remote-controlled robots playing table soccer.
